How to Reach
By Road
Being a popular tourist destination, Haridwar is well-connected with a network of buses & taxis. Haridwar is the Holly city of Uttarakhand. There is regular bus service from Delhi to Haridwar, from Delhi’s ISBT Kashmere Gate. We would suggest you to take only government buses from ISBT Kashmere Gate. You have to come to Haridwar Railway Station.
- Vehicles will pick-up you from Haridwar Railway Station at 6:30 AM.
- Pick-up is included in the cost of the trek
- You will reach Joshimath between 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
- Food from Haridwar to Joshimath is not included in the trek cost.
By Train
Haridwar is well connected by Train network. Participants may select suitable trains from New Delhi & H Nizamuddin. Take the overnight train from Delhi to Haridwar.
1. Nanda Devi Express-12401 ( Kota Via H Nizamuddin (NZM) to Haridwar (HW) )
Running on Every day From H Nizamuddin : Starts 23:45 PM at night Ends 03:53 AM early morning.
Note : This Train start from Kota at 5:55 PM Every day
2. Mussoorie Exp – Train no: 14041 (Departure from Delhi (DLI) – 22:25 PM; Arrival Haridwar – 06:05 AM)
Note : Dehradun Railway Station will be closed for 3 Months Dt. 7/11/19 to 7/02/20 for the revamping of the station as per news. Trains departing from Dehradun station will be operating from Haridwar railway station for this duration. The Dehradun station will start operating on 07/02/2020, after the renovation work to be carried out at the railway station is over. Your pickup point will be Haridwar railway station. Timing will be same 6 am. We therefore, request all of you please change your train tickets if you have booked any or book your transport to Haridwar Railway station.
By Air
The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, Distance Between Jolly Grant Airport To Dehradun Railway Station – By Road 25 Km ( 30 Mins ) and offers daily flights from New Delhi. By Air Distance from Delhi to Dehradun is Maximum 45 Min to 1 Hours.
DAY 01 : HARIDWAR – JOSHIMATH (1875M) Drive/280 kms / 10 Hrs
We will drive along the Ganga and Alaknanda rivers to reach Joshimath, from Haridwar and though the drive is long, it is quite interesting as we will drive through the holy towns of Rishikesh, Rudra Prayag and Dev Prayag. Overnight stay in Guest House at Joshimath.
DAY 02 : JOSHIMATH – GOVINDGHAT- GHANGARIA (Drive - 1 Hrs & TREK - 5 Hrs)
An early morning hour-long drive will take us to Govindghat, from where we will start our trek by first crossing the river Alaknanda by a bridge at Govindghat. Next, we will start walking through lush forest areas and a few villages, towards the Bhyundar valley. Lush green landscape and cascading waterfalls will greet us on our first day of trekking as we embark on a 14 km moderate gradient trek to Ghanghria which will take about 4-5 hours. One can also use helicopter service of hire a mule to reach Ghanghria. Overnight stay in Guest House.
DAY 03 : GHANGARIA - VALLEY OF FLOWERS (3600M) – GHANGARIA (TREK - 5 Hrs)
This is the day we will make the much anticipated short ascent to the valley and we promise the valley will not disappoint. Its peaceful and soothing landscape will strike a chord with your heart and you will be able to witness what unperturbed nature, really is like. Sprawling green meadows, decorated with diverse alpine flowers and happy little streams flowing by – all with the picturesque mountains all around. The Ratban Parvat greets you at the entrance of the valley, to the left if the Nar Parvat which separates the Badrinath valley and the valley of flowers. We will spend 3-4 hours basking in the mind-numbing beauty of the valley, after which we will head back to our Guest House at Ghangria.
DAY 04 : GHANGARIA - HEMKUND SAHIB (4329M) – GHANGARIA (TREK - 5 hrs)
Today’s trek will be to Hemkund Sahib, a famous Sikh Shrine, next to a placid lake which is surrounded by wildflowers. The climb is steep at places and will take us 3-4 hours. Pilgrims often take a dip in the freezing cold water of the lake, which is a difficult task. However, the hot tea served in the Gurudwara afterwards is divine. We will also visit the Laxman Mandir, next to the Gurudwara and then head back to Ghangria. Overnight stay in Guest House.
DAY 05 : GHANGHARIA - GOVINDGHAT - JOSHIMATH (Trek - 5 hrs)
A trek back to Govindghat and a short drive from there will take us to the end point of our trek, Joshimath. You may visit the temple town of Badrinath and proceed to Joshimath on your own. Whether you are spiritually inclined or not, the temple, situated on the banks of holy Alaknanda, under the presence of the Neelkanth peak is a peaceful place to visit. Adding to that beauty are the hot sulphur water springs! As dusk falls, we will return to Joshimath, treat ourselves to a hot shower and a good meal before we settle in for an overnight stay in Joshimath.
DAY 06 : JOSHIMATH – HARIDWAR (DRIVE 10 hrs)
After finishing the breakfast, We will leave from Joshimath for Haridwar. It will be around 8-9 hours journey. You will reach Haridwar by evening. The trip ends here.
Note: On Day 6, you will reach Haridwar between 6 pm to 7 pm. You can book your travel any time after 8 pm.

List of things to carry on a Trek
Always try to avoid unnecessary toiletries which are heavy and of little use on mountain. Pack light that you are comfortable during trek. Rain/Snowfall is common and varies one trek to another in different seasons. ALWAYS wrap your clothing / non waterproof stuff inside waterproof poly bag (polythene/plastic packet) while packing in your backpack. Plastic material is most efficient evil on mountain for waterproofing. Use additional waterproofing even if you have a rain cover for your backpack.

Apart from the above, everybody have some different needs and choices of his own, so add them to the list. Remember to take medicines, if you are taking any on regular basis. Actually, on trek, the foremost task is not looks but ‘to protect yourself’ from weather, fatigue, HAS, cramps etc.
In our opinion, after getting introduced, it is only you who peep upon yourself, nobody else. And then, it is not the branded or costlier stuff you wear, rather your will to help others, behavior and attitude towards your fellow trekkers, which makes a mark upon the group.
It is well said by one trekker “The dirtiest trekker is the best Trekker”. So stick to the basics, Leave fashion and carry the rucksack as lighter as you can. It would not be more than 5 Kg ideally, and in case you think that you would hire a porter, it will cost about approx Rs. 500-700 per day. Again, choice is yours.
P.S.: You may use and share common kit for toiletries and medicines if travelling in a group.
Paying the Trek / Adventure activity Fee :
The fee can be paid by Online Transfer / Cheque Deposit / Demand Draft / Paytm / Googal Pay. Instruction for payment will be forwarded along with your confirmation email. When your payment transfer is done, please e-mail us a confirmation mail with your transfer details, so that we can follow up your reservation efficiently.
When to book :
It is wise to make your booking at least two months in advance. However, if you want a good deal on your Domestic / International flight, we recommend organising your trip at least Three to Four months in advance. (Please contact us if you require a late booking)
Who Can Go :
First timer can apply, should have some interest in trekking and mountaineering. Age between 12 to 60 year. The climber must be fit and have sufficient stamina to cover 5 km of distance in 45 minutes without a stress. The climber should be able to carry maximum 7 Kg backpack.
Note : Heart problem, high blood pressure, asthma, and epilepsy cannot be reconciled on this mission. The climber must not have the conditions mentioned above.

BOOKINGS AND PAYMENT POLICIES:
- Full payment / Half payment to be made in advance at the time of booking any type of tour.
- Remaining / Rest Payment to be made 30 days before the start of the trip/tour.
- Booking can be made via online transfer through NEFT / RTGS / SWIFT / Bank Transfer / Cash.
- GST @ 5% will be additional on all the bookings.
- Last Date of the booking will be closed before 07 days prior trip departure.
- Cross confirm the dates and seat availability from our team via mail or call before any online Booking/Reservation.
- If any invoice amount is above 2 lacs and mode of payment full or partial is in cash (cash paid at counter or deposited in bank) 1% TCS will be applicable and to be deposited extra on total amount and PAN card copy has to be shared.
- Full payment is required as per applicable airfare in case of flight booking.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
- In the event of cancellation of any trip/adventure activity services due to any avoidable/unavoidable circumstances, we must be notified the same in writing or via mail at [email protected] Payment for this trip will not be adjusted towards any future trip(s). Written cancellation will be accepted on working days (only). Any cancellation sent on a Sunday or any National Holiday(s), will be considered on the next official working day. In the event of any cancellation(s) after trip commencement, there will be no refunds and any costs incurred due to this cancellation will be borne by you.
- Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice on mail and cancellation charges would be as follows
- Before 30 days: 50% of the total Land Package Cost is refundable
- Less than 30 days: No refund
- Refund will be processed within 30 working days after the cancellation date and credited in your account.
- Cancellation charges will be calculated on gross tour cost and the cancellation charges shall depend on date of departure and date of cancellation.
- No Refund will be payable:
- For any missed/unused services of the tour including the meals due to whatsoever reason.
- If services of the tour are modified, varied, amended, cancelled or not utilized.
- If any client decides and/or is required to cancel the tour due to any changes made in Itinerary or trip.
- If the client is not satisfied with any service of the operator.
OTHER TERMS & POLICIES:
- Crazy Adventure can change the Sequence of the day-wise tour program / Itinerary without any prior notice. It may Change depending upon traffic schedules / restrictions, landslides, flight amendments, weather conditions or any other travel related unforeseen circumstances.
- In case of cancellation of the group from our end due to any unavoidable circumstances, we will either transfer the booking in our other fixed departure trips or refund the complete amount except flight charges if any.
- Crazy Adventure takes utmost care to ensure the safety of its members during any of the adventure programs. However, in the case of any unforeseen mishaps, Crazy Adventure will not be liable for any injuries caused or for loss of life. All disputes arising due to the above will be subject to the jurisdiction of Surat only. All participants would be required to sign an Indemnity Form before the start of the program, without which traveller would not be allowed to participate in any of the adventure programs.
- The package price does not include – Expenses of personal nature, such as laundry, telephone calls, room service, alcoholic beverages, mini bar charges, tips, portage / offloading charges during any trip, monument fees, camera fees etc.
- Package rates are subject to change without prior notice, Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels/flights, cancellation/re-routing of flights, closure of / entry restrictions at a place of a visit, etc. We would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.
- It is mandatory for all guests to carry valid photo ID’s and Address proof (Aadhar Card / Passport / Driving License / Voter ID Card). PAN Card is not accepted at many places as a valid photo ID.
- Crazy Adventure reserves right to dismiss any client from the tour due to any form of misbehaviour, unreasonable quarrel or physical/verbal assault affecting a client or any of the Ground Field Staff.
